Our father, E.M. Gollott, founded Gulf Pride in 1954 while selling his hand packed shrimp, oysters and crabmeat on truck routes to "Mom and Pop" grocery stores and restaurants. His philosophy of pride of ownership, quality of merchandise, and superior service to his customers is the backbone of our business. These ideals are as integral to our business today as they were when he began over 56 years ago.
